forcepae should work. I think you have to hit f6 for other options when you boot the live usb at the boot menu and type it in.

I have bought and been given so many "broken" laptops and desktops that are just clogged up with dust. The one im on now was so bad it would shut off 10 seconds after powering on. So definitely check...

Try activating 96 version instead of 173. I didn't have the exact problem you do but similar.

cant get NSV File to play
I been trying to play a NSV file but in mplayer i Get video but no audio and vlc I get audio but no video am i missing a codec or somthing?? Any help is appreciated thanks:)
