    [SOLVED] Re: Maya44 USB Inputs

BRASE, welcome to the forums! And greetings to you also, krzakx.

Now, down to business. It makes it difficult to be a total help, because I don't own a Maya44 USB. However, I do have a few ideas....

Re: HOWTO: Get your ESI MAYA 44 to work

    Krzakx,

So, there are three MAYA44 devices. PCI, PCI-E and USB. The PCI version, apparently, works fine. The PCI-E version... well, I don't know. No one's said anything here yet.
    Those two cards...

A strange thing just happned. I installed LXDE, logged into Gnome 3 (and it worked) then uninstalled LXDE using:

After rebooting, Gnome 3 still works.

  6. Re: Ubuntu 11.04 Gnome Shell "Could not update ICEauthority file /home/user/.ICEautho

I reinstall my OS quite often. The trick is, don't let the installer format the partition.

NOTE: This is assuming that you used the default, guided partitioning method.

Boot up the live CD and...
  7. Re: SuperTuxKart 0.7 rc 1 - it's like a whole new game

Okay, has anyone else had this problem? I'm using the ppa and the game installs and runs just fine. However, every now and then, especially when playing multi-player, the keys get kinda' "possessed."...

Re: HOWTO: Get your ESI MAYA 44 to work

Well, you can always open a terminal and type in " lsusb ". This is short for "List USB," and it will give you a list of everything your computer sees plugged into your USB ports. " aplay -l " will...

Re: HOWTO: Get your ESI MAYA 44 to work

ASIO? Are you trying to use it with a windows program running on WINE? If I remember correctly, ASIO is a windows driver that people have been able to mod to get low latency audio on WINE. Unless...

Re: HOWTO: Get your ESI MAYA 44 to work

    Bag of Paper,

Good news! All the fancy code is for getting the Maya 44 PCI to work.
For the USB version, you just plug it in and it works fine (or, so I hear.) I've never used a USB audio device...

    I found one here:

    https://launchpad.net/~stikonas/+archive/ppa

It has 1.7.14, but the latest version now is actually 1.7.15 - 1.8 rc1. I think the ppa ought to updated soon enough, though.

    I...

    Oh, okay. That makes sense.

It's possible, but I wouldn't count on it. It looks to be quite discontinued. I wonder how easy, or hard, making it work would be though... the cards can't be that...

Hi everyone! I have what I hope to be a rather simple question.

I just installed the "drivers," and they work beautifully on my Medion MD 41217 (an off-brand Aiptek tablet.)
    I was just wondering...
