Hi, I'm Jacky! A KDE user to the bone!
This doesn't exist anymore :/
Hey everyone.
I might have revived an old forum thread, but I'm looking into some of this work myself.
After reading http://geek.the-daver.com/clear-usb-4g-on-linux-a-saga and seeing the...
Good thing I found this thread; I know some people might need this.
For those interesting in learning about computer programming; you'd need to learn the syntax of the language in question and how...
We definitely need to have a jam on the next release then! Do you guys hang out on IRC?
I'm a Ubuntu user (since September '10) and developer and I'm just insanely curious...
Am I all alone in the Big Apple?
Hello, I'm in a bit of a predicament.
I've searched all over for an API that allowed me to either play or record audio.
And I haven't a single one.
Any suggestions?
NOTE: I've tried...
Could you demonstrate how one would go about playing and recording audio?

I wasn't sure if it was really not working because if I wrote to a partition that wasn't full, it worked. And retrieval happened as well.
I did that, and it failed this Long Generic test.
I'm shipping it to Seagate in a few days. =/
Thank you everyone for replying so swiftly!
Seagate does have software that attempts to repair, but it doesn't do anything. It's practically a chkdsk on Windows.
But I am making progress....
Will do, James78. I think after (God forbid) this dies, I'll invest in a dedicated server just for my backups.
e2fsck is running with the -y flag, so I don't have to keep pushing y.
I don't know why I didn't come to the forums to begin with. So currently I'm running e2fsck in interactive mode because my 320 GB Seagate Expansion Portable Drive S/N (2GH473GA), P/N (9SD2A3-500) has...
Well, lol, sounds like an interesting and weird problem. I'll look for solutions in my spare time, but the most I can tell you is to run a copy of Windows in a VM and try compiling it there.

So I was looking through Synaptic and I found two packages that were related to wireless-compat.:lolflag:
So I attempted to use the bash shown at the start of this thread. and this appeared.

Just making sure, this collection of Bash corrects the channel error found in airodump-ng and allows channel hopping in aireplay-ng?
Because that's my problem.
Do you know any possible side...
Perl's excellent for a plug-in system, in scripting and those sort.
And I can use a DropBox. But I'd need your e-mail address to share the folder with you.
Guys, ever since I've joined the Ubuntu community starting at Lucid Lynx; I've learned so much about FOSS and all of its components. I just wish that it could evolve more.
That's what project...
I had an issue with getting a dual mointor setup on Maverick (10.10).
I looked at this site:
http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu:Maverick#Configure_Dual_Monitors_with_nVidia
and it worked like...
That option isn't avialable on my Lynx.
Isn't that a downloadable package? I had it before, and it was extremly useless.
