Very usefull app .. the latest mplayer from SVN doesn't inhibit the screensaver when playing videos so now I can watch a movie without it blacking out every so often.

The NVIDIA binary drivers (The ones that NVIDIA write) are WAY ahead of the ATI drivers in terms of Compiz/Desktop performance and video playback.

Have you tried to download the .tar.gz version of Flash 10 and moved the Flashplayer.so file into /home/<yourusername>/.mozilla/plugins ??

The only solution is to run a light theme or a hybrid dark/light theme (on gnome-look.org search for Shiki-Colors) They haven't managed to get GTK to work well with dark themes yet.
