    Status should not be solved. The original problem was only "solved" at the cost of having no screensaver.
    And that is no solution, because without a screensaver, you also don't need Caffeine.

    Two years ago, I tried Ubuntu 12.04 Wubi on my old laptop. I soon installed it as my favorite. Everything seemed to work, I got help via internet for more complicated things (like hibernation)....

    /etc/rc0.d...rc6.d: one link file "usbb2k-api-mod" in each rcX.d folder
    /etc/init.d/usbb2k-api-mod
    /var/lib/dpkg/info: usbb2k-api-mod.list and ~.postrm
