    No, no compiz. Turning it on or off doesn't resolve this issue. And as I said in my first post, 64-bit Jaunty. Soon 64-bit Karmic.

    I'm planning to do a fresh install, in hopes it'd solve this...

    I call my workstation "Smack" and server "Rehab" (MySQL, PXE, irssi screen, amanda server). Got a second server, it's called "Sugar" (Apache2.2, gallery2, cacti, torrentflux).

    Yesterday I did an upgrade to my workstation. The upgrade went without any problems, booted nicely afterwards.

    Only thing I noticed during yesterday that one should never ever install new cursors....

    My 7.04 -> 7.10 server upgrade ended with this. And yes, I did use the official method of upgrade.
