Which PHC patch did you use for interpid kernel?
There is a new version of PHC (0.3.1) (two days ago). http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=161063
Some changes, longer documentation and a patch for 2.6.26rc8 kernel. :)

But I didn't succeed on the intrepid kernel......
Qemu run with no problem on my Breezy (exept I have to force gcc3.4 to compile qemu as you said). Your problem (no output) seems to be not directly linked with Breezy.
