    alternate install + kde core here...much faster :D

    Not quite as fast as sidux though...but has a nicer feel, and is more stable (and nice to use i.e. gives less problems)

    I kinda agree...I have a P4 256MB RAM and it takes on average about ~17 seconds to load, and when it does it causes multi tasking to be extremely painful

    I dunno how thinkbuntu got his openoffice...

    Have you tried using the GIMP? Its pretty much as good as Photoshop...just harder to use. You can do most everything Photoshop can do in the GIMP, but it may involve a few more steps, unfortunately....
