I'm installing freeradius in UBUNTU 14.04 LTS... I did "apt-get update" before installing the freeradius. But even with repeated tries i'm getting the following error...

Sorry i didn't read it. Will try to figure it out... Many packages are missing... Can i do it right now so that my upgrade will be successfull...

I will document it here first (I dont have any backup drive - if it crashes in the half way then i do have nothing to recover it)

I tried to stop the "aptitude"

sudo killall -9 apt-get sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock
