We took our kid's old desktop and put in an newer (older) motherboard and cpu (out of my Mother's old desktop).... It is now a 2.2 with 4 gb ram....

The other day, I had problems accessing an online store (I was downloading from the store the night before - fine) the next morning - nothing..... SO I just used my ftp access and did it that...

I thought I would do some exploring in Home Folder - GO at the top - lists places you can go - I see my drives....

Thought I had them all (that now opens them up to the unity bar)

but I do NOT...

ooh I am frustrated with technology right now.... LOL

I did just find my laptop internal HDD showing up on the left (unity bar).... I forgot that it showed up there....

This is still an issue....

My HDD(windows partition) shows up in Gwenview - but not in the "home folder".... Whenever I restart my laptop, I have to open Gwenview, click on my hard drive.......

I tried to install Gimp via Ubuntu software center(I actually had it installed before I installed CS5 - was using it a bit, but was unhappy with it...I need things from photoshop for my business)...

I DID get CS5 working in ubuntu 11.10 with WINE!!!

I DID get CS5 working in WINE - works great other than a few quirks.... :)

I download CS5 to try it - and got it working in WINE - it has a few tweaks you have to work around, but works great!!!
