I'm using Jaunty, and NetworkManager (that's how it is spelled) is there. I'll give the /etc/init.d/NetworkManager a try the next time I need to restart it.

How do I restart the network manager applet?

The secondary DNS is now listed in the Network Manager, but it didn't take until I restarted. I looked in resolv.conf, and only one DNS IP was listed, even after I did a /etc/init.d/networking...

I scan even pages to an even folder and odd pages to an odd folder. I found this script:

I think the reason the collate function isn't available in your screenshot is that you only have one copy selected for printing.

I'll have to take a look at some other apps run under Wine and see...

I use Exam View for all of my tests. I give the kids hard copy, but they take the test online. My only problem is that I can't yet figure out how to get the test collated when printing multiple...

I get the same error trying to print to an HP 9650 shared from an XP machine, using both 8.10 and 9.04.

I created a share on that particular computer. I can't get to the share from my Ubuntu box, but I can from an XP box.

I added the printer using CUPS. I sued smb://10.166.195.55/HP9650 (smb://ip/printer name). I get "Connection failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED" from CUPS.
