    this seems to fix the problem for me:

    sudo apt-get install libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0 libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0:i386

    I also have the same problem, with intel HD:

    $ lspci | grep VGA
    00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 520 (rev 07)
