Alright thanks for the help guys. :D
both pidgins are the same, but they seem to have different chat logs.
I seem to have two pidgins that are installed on my Lucid ubuntu. The one that I have to launch at startup is Pidgin, when run in terminal. The other one that I noticed is installed is when i typed...
doesn't work on lucid
It's not reinstalling, more like upgrading. Upgrading Ubuntu is like going to the hospital, to get stuff fixed, to prevent death of natural causes. Perhaps like a check up to the doc?
Songbird is best for me.
A GUI would be nice =/
Bump, I still don't see this plugin.
I think that plugin hasn't been update for quite a long time.
No sorry, I noticed you're on 2.5.2, perhaps it's that I'm on 2.6.5 (latest)?
I tried reinstalling it pidgin-libnotify and it didn't show up anywhere in the plugins list.
How can I get notifications for Pidgin without using guifications? I have pidgin-libnotify but when I search for the plugin in Pidgin 2.6.5 I don't see it.
Try updating to 2.6.4
I installed Java 7 Updated 17 to ubuntu 9.10 but the plugin does not work with firefox 3.6. It works on 3.5.5 though.
I saw a guide on some google pages how to install it but it doesn't work.
With Firefox 3.6 beta 5, I can't use the java plugin with it.
Not sure what's wrong with their site, just svn update.

Installs fine, doesn't work on Firefox 3.6 Beta 5 though.
I am aware that Firefox updated their Java innards and now my plugin no longer works. I just installed Java 6 V 17 too. I'm not able to find a plugin though. What to do?
Only way I'd move to Chrome is if there is a good variety of addons.
ll /etc/alternatives/mozilla-javaplugin.so
ll: command not found
mm, i'd learn some greasemonkey..
I tried again today
I get
make[3]: Nothing to be done for `install-exec-am'.
make[3]: Nothing to be done for `install-data-am'.
This no longer works, Karmic Koala
