  1. [all variants] Re: Local mail server? Point me in the right direction.

I already had those links - I assume I'm not understanding something.

  2. [all variants] Local mail server? Point me in the right direction.

    Hi there,

Could anyone point me in the right direction? I'm wondering if it's possible to setup a local mail server? It only has to manage email on my LAN.

I've searched google, but I keep...

  5. [ubuntu] Is Ubuntu 9.04/gnome SymLink aware when copying?

    Hi all,

I have an Ubuntu 9.04 NAS with a bunch of drives in it. I'd like to copy everything from Drive A (ext2) to Drive B. (Larger, and also Ext3)

  7. [ubuntu] Re: Is There Any Wat To Uninstall Last Updates?

Check Synaptic. It maintains a history of all the packages that get updated. You can select those packages and revert to older versions, then lock them.

    [ubuntu] Re: Ext3 or ext4??

I usually go ext2. The speed difference seems minimal, and if something craps out, at least I can read the partition from another OS. (Including Windows)

    [all variants] Re: 10.04/10 64-bit WEP :(

WEP networks can be cracked by consumer grade hardware in about 400 miliseconds.

Unless your password changes 4+ times per second, you're still insecure.

    WPA2 or nothing.

[SOLVED] Re: can't find shutdown button

Look for a logout option. It should have a way to shut down.
