You should be able to just choose those themes from the drop downs and it will be back as before.
At the moment, I've been in talks to refactor this program and it should be going up on launchpad...

As it says on the first page, it requires imagemagick to handle the conversion which is where the 'convert' tool comes from.
sudo apt-get install imagemagick
should solve it....
