personally I use ffmpeg and concat them together. I find it better because sometimes VOB files do not always have the same language on the same audio track.
I believe it is not just flash, but the new flash games use 3d graphics and I do believe it depends on the windows OS. I tried, but I cannot get too involved with it.
It should update all together. Maybe a PPA needs to be included to get the bleeding edge version of gnome software.
AAC is always experimental in Linux. Why is that so?
If your computer sees it maybe try cheese just to see if there is something else not working. There was also a set up to get VLC to record with it too. I would not edit video0 that is just a device...
You can also try another player that has included codecs like smplayer
You could always install a different login manager like gdm or kdm and then go back and reinstall lightdm. Maybe that will help instead of installing a whole other window manager.
I just assume it is unity. I actually installed gnome and all the buttons are on the upper right corner of their window.
It is easy to install the latest ffmpeg by downloading it from ffmpeg.org and adding ffmpeg to /usr/sbin.
Well that is when I believe they use to compile it too but now it is a source code thing. ...
I know how to answer that.
1. Check that ffmpeg was compiled with all the goodies with it. I noticed that I had a bad quality mp4 from one session because it did not have H.264 compiled in. I...
From my experience, I would check for hardware failure. The hint that I receive would be mostly on faulty RAM. Why? Faulty RAM causes random lock ups, crashes, and kernel panics.
Yes, I combined two thoughts and it was hard to follow. Excuse me about that. I'll have to slow my thoughts down because I drank two cups of Starbucks(TM) Pike coffee when I posted it. I drank...
I just build my OS on my laptop and swap out the hard drive to a desktop and I have a stand alone workstation that does not need a network connection. I use it for video format conversion and...
You say nothing wrong with DNS. Okay. I would just reinstall firefox. I know that some sites that are HTML5 enabled are a little strange in Linux. Youtube was one of them. Maybe update the...
I guess.
Hola.
Try sudo apt-get install @gnome-desktop or
sudo apt-get install @gnome
I am not sure which one works.
I guess meho. I guess.
I would do it the old fashioned way and find a USB drive that is about the same data size and use the dd tool to reconstruct it on USB. dd just copies the data to the device in its whole some state....
What I found out is things just do not work the way people want them too sometimes. This is why I actually am working on another Linux distro because I was just not comfortable with ubuntu on *this*...
I think I have one of those. I never got it working with Linux. That is a 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz usb wireless module right?
try ... http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-linux-beta-driver.aspx
e17 is a windows manager try to install e17 first. I did not know that ubuntu supported e17.
nope. everyone loves the new better HEVC format. the problem is I cannot play it because I do not have the hardware on my laptop that is fast enough. Maybe you just do not have all the codecs to...
This is what I know. The MKV file is using the new VP9/opus combo so I also assume that opus is like DTS or AC3 so maybe a code snip like this would work....
ffmpeg -i myfile.mkv -c:a aac -strict...
32bit linux with pae over 64 bit linux does it matter? yes. Actually 32 bit applications are faster because I believe the op codes are optimized on the data bus. Meaning it should push over two...
I had a problem with sound when I changed my hard drive to another computer. I took it from a laptop to my tower computer that has no internet. It had no sound but I found out why. I was using...
