    That is a very important step to make sure everything was downloaded correctly.
    If the md5sum isn't correct you can install zsync and zsync it to get the rest...

    Live CDs do work without a harddrive. It may be easier to use a USB than a CD, though.
    The first thing you need to do is check the md5sum of your iso file that you downloaded from the website....
