We must have posted at about the same time! TheFu had a very simple solution. I out commented all nameservers in /etc/systemd/resolved.conf and just put:
nameserver 1.1.1.1
nameserver 1.0.0.1...
I found the problem with sudo and solved it via correcting an inconsistency of hosts and hostname.
