actually when i was using jaunty i dont know that this is a display problem
i thought that ubuntu is actually like that

hey i got the messege and uncheck all but the problem is same

i have used less resolution but it is not working
actually everything was fine i waas thinking that ubuntu is at is as i have
but when i see some you tube videos it stuck in to my mind
i used it...

windows give such resolution as such i m using in ubuntu but here the windows are extra large

display is working correctly bt the resolution seems to be lower
actually the windows and fonts are seem to be extra large yet resolution is same as vista
and 3d acceleration is also supported

yet ubuntu is giving good graphics as well as 3d acceleration bt
i m not getting the actual resolution of my screen it does not

bt the effects are enabled... i m using almost every effect

i m installing two more packages of drivers from synaptic package manager which install ati or nvidia driver of 60 mb can they solve my problem

yes font size is 10 in every colomn

is there any driver problem or something else

almost all effects are avialable because i can use desktop cube as well as wobbly windows by the help of ccsm have u seen the screenshots
cairo dock is also installed with opengl

resolution is 1280*800 n refresh rate is 60 hz

this is my third post since no one there 2 reply

actually everything is fine it seems like that 'windows' giving good graphics acceleration but resolution is not high

as said i had already done this on network manager
even my connection is in the lias it does not work there .. but the same procedure was working on jaunty jackalope

one thing stucking in my mind is that the resolution is high
but the fonts and windows seem be large... i hav seen ubuntu on you...
