    Rather than use two ports, you can use one port with two domain names.

    For example, if you use port 80, you can then set (in http.conf):


    # myserver.org is the name of your server; different...

    That would be my "DUH" moment!

    I copied the rewrite code and changed it a bit. The stupid part of my brain decided that "F=final" (i.e. instead of "L=last") so I let it go.

    That fixes this...

    This should be in /etc/apache2/ports.conf for a typical setup.

    There's no .htaccess file - everything should be fine with the overall config.

    The error.log file only shows Apache restarts etc. No specific error related to attempting to display the page. ...
