[ubuntu] keyboard mapping and no left click

Some how my ctrl+left click doesn't work. So I can't select multiple items at a time, and I can't also ctrl+mouse wheel to zoom in or out.

I surmise this happened when I installed KDE on my GNOME...

  4. [ubuntu] Re: Cannot click on any feature on youtube 9.10

Fixed by removing everything again by the above commands, and then installing the flash-installer package from Synaptic. I'll then try these steps over.
  5. [ubuntu] Re: Cannot click on any feature on youtube 9.10

I apparently I didn't click through the link to see that information, thanks.

  6. [ubuntu] Re: Cannot click on any feature on youtube 9.10

So I went about getting rid of...

(Which seems to be the same as your instructions)

However, I'm still getting wacky behavior out of youtube and...

[SOLVED] Re: [SOLVED] tracker installed, doesn't work?

Well, aside from being non-obvious, I feel pretty stupid about the solution to this problem.

[SOLVED] [SOLVED] tracker installed, doesn't work?

I installed tracker from the repos, and that was successful. However, using the GUI (tracker-search-tool) successfully opens, but returns "no results" no matter what my search term is.

[SOLVED] Re: Slow Web browsing / DNS?

I just purged samba, samba-common, samba-client, and anything else 'samba' that I could without affecting other packages, in an effort to get rid of their config files.

    Tried removing "wins"...

[SOLVED] Re: Slow Web browsing / DNS?

Thanks for the response. I've been running x64 since Dapper, and I came across some other threads that referenced IPv6 disabling, but I'm not sure if I decided against it or not.

    In the meantime,...
