Acer Aspire 5930g intel 5100 works out of the box on Kubuntu 8.10 rc desktop amd64

9600gt works fine with envy ng -> install drivers manualy and select the newest driver

i got them from Acer site

but still due to the network-admin bug i can`t get it to...
