Use Rufus or Etcher for creating the bootable usb stick. Works without any problem
+1 for kubuntu. Highly versatile and resource usage is pretty reasonable.
I am sure its Windows
1.Use Rufus to create the bootable drive.
2. use "Something else" option while installing
3. Make sure to install the grub bootloader in the same partition as your installation (boot) partition....
what does it says at the last line
