cat /etc/apt/sources.list
You can try
sudo apt-get clean
1. paste the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list and all files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d .
cat /etc/apt/sources
ls -lha /etc/apt/sources.list.d
copy and paste those into the thread

If you can boot into a live cd, why don't you just mount the partition and grab your data? I don't see why you wouldn't be able to grab the data. If you need some forensic software...there is tons...
