Hi there,
I've only recently started using a smart phone, running Android.
I'm amazed to see the numerous chat applications: Facebook Messenger, Hangout, Whatsapp, Tango, Naver Line, Skype and...
The devices are not listed.
The same devices were listed before, they suddenly stopped being listed and mounted.
I will see these options but since i haven't changed them and it worked before, i...
Hey friends! Is there no one to help me on this case? :,(
:( !!
I don't think i can replace it. It's embeded in the laptop (without tray) on a Dell Vostro 15010. I can't see screws or anything below to remove it.
I think I mentioned earlier: I cannot read any DVD, though I am able to read CDs (i mean not me, my drive can).
I am not sure as to what you mean here. I am not trying to install Ubuntu, I am trying to read a DVD on Kubuntu 12.04. But perhaps I missunderstand you?
Nope.
Can't I do that with Ubuntu?
I can't really afford re-installing an entire other OS right now--my laptop is my main work tool. Besides, I've been using Ubuntu on this machine for the past...
I am not able to read any DVD indeed while I can read CDs (I assumed both were the same). I don't understand what would have caused the defect: I've hardly ever read a DVD before with this laptop...
Which means?
When I insert a DVD in my laptop, the DVD is not detected.
I use a Dell Vostro 1510 with Kubuntu 12.04, which used to read and mount the same DVDs just fine a week ago.
The drive takes the...
Hello,
Kubuntu 12.04 on Acer Aspire One used to mount USB devices and suddenly they seem not to be detected nor mounted.
The same occurs with a USB flash memory disk and a Nokia mobile phone.

Hello,
there are several posts on this forum on how to convert epub files to pdf ones. Most of them point to using Calibre, which I tried.
However, I have not found out how to create a PDF...
Yes it worked! :)
I had read something about it before and I had tried to disable completely the network boot, but that didn't help at all.
I realise now that Kubuntu was running fine after installation, and that it is only after the first re-boot that the freeze occured. I don't know if that can tells anything about the cause.
The user could not get command line with Esc, but the OS went beyond the splash screen few times, and froze once on the desktop. Is that a clue?
Acer Aspire One has no CD-drive. Can it be done with a USB?
Issue also posted on Launchpad.
According to the X Freeze Troubleshooting documentation "It's best to file a new bug report rather than joining onto someone else's", so here it goes:
I have...
Hello,
I've posted an idea on Ubuntu Brainstorm:

Also I was wondering if there is any wireless touch-screen (i.e. a tablet without computer, to connect in existing computer.
I personally don't need touchscreen all the time e.g. not when I am...
Did you guys see this Emulator?
Although I'm interested in the software, it's mostly the hardware I find intriguing. I'm almost surprised the producers focus on DJ software rather than selling...
I'm using Ubuntu since 2007 on A Dell Vostro 1510 and Ubuntu always did the job. I recently installed 11.10, its been working for the past two weeks with Gnome Shell.
It worked some one hour ago...
Nice :)
Wow, this is cool :)
