i have the same issue...but im using wep 64 bit hex key...even after i enter by selecting the right option ie. wep 64 bit hex its asking for the key repeatedly..any ans? mine is a thinkpad x60

Run
1) sudo apt-get clean
2) sudo apt-get autoremove
This will do your job..if the above doesnt work try to delete the tomboy folder from the home directory and give a restart...

Ok bro waiting for your valuable reply....Each and every time i need to reload my window manager using compiz icon to get rid off the bug.
By adding the repos to third party sources, compiz updates itself to the recent version i suppose.
