    First, I think there is something wrong with the firmware for Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000.
    That firmware which comes from the LTS 12.04 maybe has...

    Now I would have to say I have to install a debian stable instead of ubuntu.

    Ok, this weekend I will try it as a last chance. I'm very appreciate of your help whether it can work out of my box or not .

    I'd prefer to use a LTS version, not a version which need to upgrade...

    I have a fresh installation on my Lenovo laptop Y470, which has a Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 network controller.
    Now the problem is that I can't access my wifi router under ubuntu, but it's ok...
