Re: Little nice bags for geek gadgets?

Crumpler bags are very very nice... I have one for my camera, but they do laptop bags and all sorts. Check out Amazon for the best prices IMO.

Re: What happened to The IT Crowd?

"Did you turn it off and back on again?"

UK shows are short compared to US seasons, but they do know when to quit while they are ahead :) It's both good and bad, but I'd rather have something...

I've installed Ubuntu 9.04 from the CD on my Intel Core Duo Macbook Pro (first generation). All was well, and wanted to upgrade, so I updated the distro to 9.10. My only problem now is...

Right... mine is sorted. I had to remove the Nvidia driver. Malachi, you should do the same if you have it installed!

  12. Re: ComputerWorld Article: "Why women quit technology careers"

I'm never one to really say much, but it is pretty tough being a woman in a male dominated/technology field. I'm 28 years old and have experienced some sexist, derrogatory and ill feeling situations...

Eeexubuntu runs pretty well on my Asus 2G surf on the 2GB ssd with Compiz. I'd like to get a bigger SDHC card and run the Ubuntu EEE version now. :)

I think we all know the feeling if we're women and work in the technology field. :) Nothing worse than being in a room full of men (in a different country) and them looking at you, and saying to you,...
