My RaspberryPi was downloading to my HDD drive which is shared with the Ethernet so it was halving the speed, I'm such an idiot. :mad:

Fn+F7 is the way to disable the touchpad on laptops. You could of accidentally pressed Fn+F7. It could be something else that made it happen though, so don't blame it all on yourself.

What about trying Fn+F7. It might be a different button for you though (check the symbols). Common mistake.

Have you installed anything recently? (Programs can sometimes have an effect on the touch pad)
