    it seems that the repo for deluge has closed its doors.

    if you don't have deluge you have three options:

    1. deluge is in Feisty universe and will be backported to Edgy - wait for the backport...

    i installed FIFA07 on both wine and cedega.

    on cedega it just didn't work but on wine it works quite ok. see comments on winehq database.

    you were right. i found a windows machine, ran chkdsk, safely removed my hdd and now its working fine.

    seems that 'safely remove device' does something in fact and is not a gimmick after all.

    if i try it again then it givees...

    thanks givre. My drive is actually sdb1 and on entering the pmount command i can see it on my desktop - i can browse, but not create or delete files and folders.

    at least that's an improvement.

    so i have tried this guide under edgy. i have not installed the ones in the repos and used this guide since my only NTFS drive is a portable USB HDD.
