i got this laptop and no problems what so ever wifi works with linux-backports-modules
you cant see the sd early enough because you need to load sdhci in initrd ... the problem here is grub ...., tryed grub 1 (legacy) and grub 2 no luck

anyone know how to boot off the sdhc? i know bios doesnt support it so you got to have grub on the hdd , but how do you boot it :|
if you read my post closly , you see that the aspire one bios cant boot from sdhc because of the sdhc card readers are pcie .i have grub on the hdd and with this grub boot the sdhc card ... but grub...

I managed to install 8.10 umpc version on the sdhc .... now i know the aspire one can't boot from...
i think the mini notebooks or netbooks are 10" max :P

i don't see anything you could unload.... I think the next step is 6sell bat :lolflag:
the problem is that its slow...not switching speeds correctly , no led , sometimes the wlan card gets stuck on boot and will not connect on any netowk unless you shutdown(as in halt) and boot...
if you what to blacklist it manualy the driver is ath_pci
maybe you got hardware faliure.... try another os see if the same happens....
Acer Aspire One 150 - 120gb hdd and 1.5gb of ram and ubuntu with compiz flys on it :)

try power top should tell you what programs/processes are using more power
did you guys try adding to /etc/X11/xorg.conf

it seems it unresponsive fo 15-20s then responds for a while then its unresponsive again and so on .... haveing thins problem for a while now ... bun its not that anoying...
