    Discs

Can anyone mail me a copy of 10.04? Would like a copy on disc and unfortunately my burner is down. Would like a copy of Ubuntu and Kubuntu 64-bit if possible, CD or DVD does not matter, thanks.

Re: Planning for Ohio Linux Fest

Sorry I haven't been at any of the meetings lately. Been pretty busy. Unfortunately the logs haven't been kept up-to-date, so I can't read them either :(

I will try to donate something soon.

    I...

    Re: how-to web site

I am not sure where you are putting your tutorials. In the Ubuntu Ohio wiki or on another site?
  7. Re: Regrettably, I must take a leave of absence

Don't fret, we will try to keep the group together! Have a great summer! I don't have the logs from last week. Wasn't able to attend. This week was a little strange. Not much of a meeting, but here...

I volunteer! Just let me know what programs you want me to work on! I used to make how-tos all the time.

I have a patent on "viewing or eitherwise seeing a computer monitor" which means all of you (including, but not limited to, William Gates, Steven Ballmer, and Steve Jobs) owe me almost as much as you...

    External HDD Fix

If any of you have had a problem with an external hard drive "pausing" durring transfers, I seem to have found a fix... not really a fix, a reversion.

Turns out there is a problem with the USB 2.0...

Actually I think that even though the offers are fewer, they are higher quality. Both HomeBank and GnuCash are much better than anything I have seen for Windows.

    Re: New member intoduction

    Welcome Chris!

You might also want to check KDE-Apps.org and GnomeFiles.org for applications if you haven't yet. They include programs that are not necessarily in the Ubuntu repositories.

Re: Off topic : LEt'S GAME THIS SUNDAY EH?!

Wow, never seen this game before, thanks. Looks good.

The interface looks very Tribes-ish. Tribes was my favorite game... before Sierra canned Dynamix and crapped all over it (a la T:V).
