They are planning on removing the old notification area in the next release i think, just left both there for the moment while they modify existing apps to use the new one.

With the 177.82 driver in ubuntu and my 9800 gt i cant get above 60 refresh and i was hoping the 180.22 would solve that but no, is anyone else with this card having the same problem?
