yeah, but i never used bootchart before. i started using it now because before i could push the "on" button and would be up and running in 30secs all included, while with karmic i noted long booting...
I gave it a shot and changed fstab to 0, but didn't change my boot speed. Bootchart still says 1:29 (give or take 1-2 secs).

Since you named the resolv.conf i rembered i had had an issue about it a year ago.
i edited it into
nameserver 192.168.2.1
search tado-laptop (MY HOST NAME)
and it seems to work!...
