    Got it, just edited the file that was clearly not on the live usb, the home folder was empty but at one stage (oddly had shown an ubuntu folder)

    I am going to restart now and see if I can login..

    Ok slightly different query, I am unable to actually delete the default "James" folder.

    Going to edit fstab the file again taking out the line and awaiting your kind advice!
