  1. [ubuntu] HDMI Output - 1080p and 5.1 seen by receiver regardless of file format

The title says it all, I suppose. I'm on Raring and just purchased an Onkyo TX-NR616. When I check the input and output on the receiver, regardless of the format of the file playing it always...

    [ubuntu] Re: pithos dont work!

That did it...for some reason mp3-hifi doesn't work in Pithos, but changing format to AACPlus fixes it.

Now if someone could sort the Pandora plugin for XBMC, I would be stoked!

[ubuntu] Re: Monitor output won't turn back on

Not terribly helpful I know, but wanted to say that I have a similar problem. I can get to the Nvidia X server settings but other than turning off Power Mizer (which did nothing) I see no options...

OK, I'm not sure which ID you're referring to, but on the back there's an FCC ID:

    AK8CECHZC2UA1

There's also an ID showing in the Qtsixa GUI:

    054c:0268

I can plug it in and it is...

Thanks for the quick response! I'm at work, but I'll do this and post the info as soon as I get home.
  7. [all variants] Re: HOW-TO: Connect Sixaxis to Ubuntu trough bluetooth mode

I've installed Qtsixa via the PPA on 11.10 64bit and am not able to get a Sixaxis PS3 controller to connect via bluetooth. I get zero response from the GUI and when I start it via the terminal, it...

Also, the version in the Software Center is fairly outdated. For the newest version with multiple collection support and many other new features, install from svn.

[ubuntu] Re: A music player that works?

Guayadeque handles iPod playlists great. I would recommend building from svn over the version in the repos. There's also a forum that the developer checks regularly. guayadeque.org

[ubuntu] Re: Which Music player do I need?

Guayadeque, period. There's no memory leak, believe me. If you're using the SVN version, then of course there's bound to be things going wrong, the the dev is on the ball and issues updates 4 to 5...

Two questions; first, has anyone tried the Quod Libet script? Second, how do you invoke the Quod Libet script?

    Thanks!
