I'm pretty sure the thing is that it really isn't detecting the devices. Downloading more drivers isn't going to fix anything if the devices haven't been bound to an interface.

To expand on that, this is the output I got from restarting the networking daemon:

Okay, I tried both of those solutions and I got nothing. Connman is not installed, and it still says that there are no such devices for eth0 and wlan0.

You don't need to feel bad, I was rude too. I just really dislike not using LTS and the new interface. I would sooner switch to Debian or something.
