Thank you for the 32bit version

I just want thank the devs for continuing support of 32bit Ubuntu. 95% of the software I use on my PC is 32bit, so it's a huge relief to me to know I'm still supported for a while.

    Re: N64 emulators won't work

@oldrocker yes technically N64 is 64 bit, alot of the games are still 32 bit though. I've used N64 emulators under windows 32 bit for 18 years or so and never had trouble. Also the Wii is 32 bit, it...

    N64 emulators won't work

Hi I'm using the most updated 32 bit version of lubuntu. For some reason all of the N64 emulators I've tried (including different plugins) won't show video. Some plugins produce sound, so I know the...

    PAE Lubuntu

Is PAE standardly turned on with Lubuntu, or do I need to enable it somehow? If so can someone explain how to do so?
  10. Re: Command to check amount of video ram available.

Thanks, the ram is indeed lost to the void. Even though it's a 64 bit capable processor, physical address is only 32 bit.
  11. Command to check amount of video ram available.

I installed 4gb of ram, but Lubuntu only sees 2999mb while the bios sees all 4gb. It is a 64 bit version of Lubuntu btw. This Mobo I have isn't really supposed to support more then 2gb so it's not a...
  12. Re: Set up a new install of Lubuntu with a software raid 0 configuration.

I tried the Ubuntu way and the install hangs, there isn't way to do this from Lubuntu live?
  13. Re: Set up a new install of Lubuntu with a software raid 0 configuration.

Also I tried server, but it needed a lan connection or something. I guess the alternate version doesn't, but I don't believe it has a GUI.
  14. Re: Set up a new install of Lubuntu with a software raid 0 configuration.

Thanks for the reply, I have a bios. It only supports raid 1. I'm aware of the risks of data loss. I don't keep anything important on the PC. Occasional games. I can back up my saves somewhere else....
  15. Re: Set up a new install of Lubuntu with a software raid 0 configuration.

No one knows how to setup raid 0 in a Lubuntu live then install it?
  16. Set up a new install of Lubuntu with a software raid 0 configuration.

Can someone please provide the instructions to do so?
