Yeah it's just a mock-up someone made a while back, so don't get too excited.
uber-awesome
Win.
What I like:
*Subtle Gradients
Subtle gradients give the theme a nice polished look without being too flashy. It also avoids making the theme look too flat like older themes.
*Color

I think it'd be perfect if you added a little blur to it, it seems a little to harsh up close.
Matt... Damon...? XD
I don't think it may be as hard it seems to make this mock-up work. The corners strike me as the hardest part to implement, but all the widget panel needs is to hack some existing panel widgets imo. ...
Avast me Harties! Tis a good day fur plunderin'\\:D/
Bookmarked.
It looks like they just took the existing theme and changed the color, and added a gold stripe. It lacks the depth or richness that themes like Oxygen have, the theme just looks flat, and old....
I put expo and scale on edge detect so it's faster :D
Interfacelift, and Deviant Art are where I get my wallpapers, although with the later you have to go through a lot of crap to get to the good stuff,:)
I just found squarespace.com. I haven't used it, but looks simply amazing.
The subtle gradients are a nice touch.
mattchesters, you are an f'ing genius. I think it might be possible to get the panel look under gnome right now, ill see what i can do. Keep up the AWESOME work:guitar:

Actually the Ibex GTK Proposal didn't really strike me as being gorgeous at all. It seems like a decent evolution of the Hardy theme, but thats it.
Gimmie Human looks like it's trying too hard to...
KDE 4 is really shaping up, it has the potential to rival the OSX desktop in terms of looks and innovation. Who knows, maybe in a year, it might have something better than time machine.
LOLWAT? I seriously doubt Apple would have gone through all the trouble of working with intel and rewriting OSX just to abandon them a couple years later. Look at how long they stuck with IBM when...
Richard Branson is one of my heroes, he has vision and the courage to make them reality. Burt Rutan is also a frickin genius. On a scale of 1 to 10 of awesomeness, virgingalactic is an 11. :guitar:
Gnome-Do rocks my socks off :guitar:, plus the recent update was a pleasant surprise.:KS
Agreed, if they applied some well placed, subtle gradients (as seen in sauna-dark) it would vastly improve it. Ultimately any dark theme -no matter how good- should only be used as an option and...
OS: Ubuntu 8.04 (gnome)

Hi, I was wondering if the login/logout compiz plugin is supposed to work in ubuntu because the login window match is set to
(iclass=^ksplash) and this is obviously for kde not gnome.
