    Another item that is probably not needed by everyone is ALL the xserver-xorg-video-xxxxx (xxxx being the name of the driver) driver modules.

    I realise I seem arrogant but having said that alot of things are how we perceive the other person to be reacting.

    I'm not hostile towards UT, I have used it and find it to be a decent application...

    It's not "Obsolete", it's "Local" because it's from the Medibuntu repository.

    Yes thats it, if you tick "en" only the various English translations are kept on your machine. Everything else like French, Spanish, Swahili etc are deleted.

    Actually you don't, it will refresh itself and show even more Orphaned packages if they occur without closing it.
