It's fine, people can post their scripts here, I don't mind. :D
I have an idea. If you have any files that you need to retrieve, I recommend that you boot up via a live cd and retrieve the files if possible, then do a reinstall, I've heard that can work, it would...
Odd how they changed the location of where to change the prefix, you used to do it via 'thread tools'.
It has been fixed, I'll keep the commands in the link in mind, check my previous post on this thread, thanks!
FIXED! I had to reinstall cinnamon in its entirety, I believe the update through update manager messed it up.
For future people who may have this issue, try this and reboot:

UPDATE: Every time I attempt to start a program or a script it comes up...
The thing is, even the bottom bar doesn't show up.
I'm using the default window manager, or whatever window manager cinnamon comes with, i can't do the keyboard shortcut to even run a command. My plan is to ssh into it, log out of it, and switch the...

I'm really uneased about Apple doing a Smart watch, it'll probably end up a novelty if not done right. I can't really say if I would like to see a Ubuntu smart watch until I see how Apple does with...
Does the Ubuntu VM detect your network card?
I will try it out when I get to my Ubuntu computer, I will post when I get a result (or if I don't).
EDIT: I decided to switch back to Docky, I will try Cairo-Dock on another one of my computers...
I'm switching from Docky due to it's hardware usage. Unless there's any way to reduce it's resource dependency.
Just got Cairo Dock after hearing that Docky is a real resource hog. I have a couple of questions in configuring the dock.
How can I make the dock the width of the screen like Docky? (Really liked...
Apologies for a duplicate thread, decided to post in general help rather then wine, general help threads get seen more....
Shameful self-bump (my apologies) I really need some help!
I'm attempting to get Terraria working on my Ubuntu PC with 12.04 LTS, so far I'm all good following the instructions here, but I am stumped at the part instructing me to install mono 2.8 and 2.10,...
Is there a command like
exec $0
That makes it loop a certain amount of times?
I just made a test script doing echo test and put the command you mentioned and it worked! I'll try out other methods also
that were suggested here, thanks!
