    Running_rabbit I already posted that. they don't want branch or trunk build. they want final release in .deb form because it's hard to extract a file but easier to install a .deb. :rolleyes:

    No one does it because there is really no reason to, when you can download the TAR from Mozilla and extract it and you're done.

    Well why don't you start that PPA then? I don't see what's so hard about downloading it from Mozilla, extract it somewhere in your /home/, then just make a link to ~/<user>/thunderbird/thunderbird....
