I'm exasperated with OOo and its apparent inability to play well, and consistently, with dark gtks themes. You may have noticed that many dark themes that worked fine in OOo2 are now broken again. So...
[productname]sucks and [companyname]sucks domains are a well developed meme, a well developed format in which people make criticisms about a product or company.
Reference, for a few example

Not even the money-grubbing freedom-suppressing Microsoft has gone to this length. See http://www.microsoftsucks.org/
I discovered this fact about Canonnical while researching the meme of...
Okay, there's tones that is just awfully wrong about this.
Look up ubuntu-sucks.com - http://www.whois.net/whois/ubuntu-sucks.com
It is owned by Canonnical and redirects to a bug report page....
Perhaps I'm missing something, but what's the point of new versions anyway?
And particularly, it seems a supremely stupid business decision to release a new version every 6 months. Who besides...
Gwibber in 9.10 won't run. From the command line it gives:
WARNING:root:desktopcouch is not available. . falling back to gconf

This is absolutely ridiculously inexcusable incompetence. Don't these developers try to, er, actually install their upgrades before releasing them? This is exactly the sort of reason why Linux...
Thanks!
However, how does one get the places to restore for all accounts after they've been deleted?

From terminal I get: gloobus-preview: command not found
I think some recent updates broke gloobus. It was working fine a bit a go and then - broken.

Since glib was updated, the back version of the plugin no longer works. This means that Audacious basically sucks now, since you have to configure the LADSPA plugins each time you open the program. :(
There is actually a Firefox theme based on Ubuntu Dust, called Ubuntu Dust. You can search for it.
IN my case with 9.10, I had installed glib to compile audacious. Removing it manually as described on page 3 fixed the problem.
I'm wondering if somehow the package ubufox that Ubuntu packs into its Firefox is breaking some CSS features.
Please, someone tell me if http://meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge/complexspiral/demo.html...
That theme is called SlicKness
I got juicer working great, and it is amazingly fast, too. Regrettably, RubyRipper still fails to query CDDB, and I had the dependency you mentioned installed all along. I've installed it from PPA....
It's not a go. :(
Here's the results:

Screenlets does not appear to have been developed for a while. In Karmic, I cannot get half of them to delete, and I get the following when running desklets

I can't get RubyRipper to read from CDDB, and can't get Juicer to accept MP3 as a profile. So it's either no MP3 or no CDDB for me.
Can't anyone make an audio extraction program that just...
Strangest thing I've ever seen.
I installed it into 9.10 from Synaptic. It's composted with Metacity. It displays at the top of the screen. There's no way to configure it to display at the bottom....
