I got problem with my samba... running on MM...

I share a folder with guest access...
but it cant be accessed from windows...

when I share the folder without guest access, it can be accessed...

how to add local login user...??


I've try adding phrix to smbpasswd


smbpasswd -a phrix

but, when I try to open 'video' which one is allowing guest, I cant open it till I open 'movie'...

the restricted is movie and free access is video...

in this case, phrix is my root account, for login or something..
but I dont want phrix to be in smbpasswd database, I want another user...
...

but, both of the folders isn't accessible when I try open with Windows.

I want to setup samba on Maverick...

this is the case...
I have 2 folders want to be shared, freeaccess and restrictedaccess...
the freeaccess folder can be accessed by everyone on...

It appears no output when I type that command.
Is it something wrong?

oh, and something I've missed... I forget some commands, they're:


useradd
smbpasswd
