    delete account

Hi, can you please delete my account? I just realized that I have more than one username and I don't want to keep this one. Thanks!
  2. Re: BBC article about Ubuntu: Linux evolves for mobile devices

I just saw this article on BBC and was about to post it myself. Obviously, I was beaten to it.

Ubuntu as well as the FLOSS movement is certainly gaining momentum right now and it only seems to be...

    Re: Parody: Debain WrEtch

    Yes it is hilarious :lolflag:
I found this through Mark Shuttleworth's blog site earlier this week.
    Highly recommended.
  6. Re: With Dell comes great responsibility: Perfect Apt

Well, for users who would be using ubuntu distributed by Dell, they will not have to alter config since Dell will sell their computers with close-to-perfect functionality. If users swapped parts in...

Re: Anyone here living without a car/suv/etc?

I'm a college student at UC Berkeley and I do not need a car nor do I own one at this moment.
That's actually one of the greatest thing about this city, alongside with liberal atmosphere. Why not...

Re: A critical review of Feisty

very honest review and exactly what the community needs.
it was also interesting to read people's comments at the bottom of the page 2.
  9. Re: שלום, Peace, Peoning Hwa, der friede, vrede, nanomonsetôtse; how do you say it?

Since the first post only expresses Japanese in Roman-ji, I will post the Japanese characters (and I guess we added a letter to the Chinese)

    Re: Ubuntu completely Free

    http://www.markshuttleworth.com/archives/108

As we discuss this issue, Mr. Shuttleworth has words to confirm and clear up his motives on this move. I sure can't wait to use and "free" (as in...

Re: CBC news story on Ubuntu

I appreciate what he's doing, but if he is not going to do his job right (meaning not providing the right information/facts), then it is debatable whether what he's doing is desirable. Permitting...

Re: CBC news story on Ubuntu

Apparently this sort of description has no credibility and says nothing about the writer, for this guy sounds like an infant when compared with linux users.
Or maybe linux users are to be described...
  14. Re: What is the best virtualization software for Linux?

Well Virtualbox is licensed under GPL whereas no other programs aren't so I'd suggest using Virtualbox.
(oddly enough virtualbox asked me to agree with their terms of use PUEL or something)

Re: Bill is again 1st on the Rich List

That was exactly the point of my satire. That's how pointless these "values" at least in respect to assets are. Apparently you didn't get the joke.

Re: Bill is again 1st on the Rich List

Well if money can indicate his value, then that is not much value. I must be more worthy than he since U.S. government can buy his life and put him to death while it can't do that to me :)

Re: Holy crap talk about a difference

Yeah, Media Center has a DVD image file for you to sample the video on media center. I believe the size of that image file was almost a full single-layer DVD (4.7GB) and that's what is taking up so...

Re: Linux Article revised and updated

How about mentioning some of the ethical side of using free software and rms's suggestion of calling the operation system as GNU/Linux? I think they are just as important.

Poll: Re: Where is Linux lacking??

I often encounter GNU/Linux users who value 'choice' and 'freedom' in creating/developing floss software but this is only productive if we found them on some platform, ie unity and standardization....

Re: Cuba switching to linux only...

I don't get this at all. It seems clear to me that you're trying to put two separate issues into one. (perhaps equivocation of "freedom")
  24. Re: Philosophy: Why Zealotry is Bad for Open-Source

And that's what I exactly mean by a "helping hand" :)
I support free software movement over open source so I totally agree with you on that point. :KS
  25. Re: Philosophy: Why Zealotry is Bad for Open-Source

Um, zealots attempting to persuade masses into floss must be seen as a helping hand to free them from restrictions of proprietary software. It is in that sense we must not be mistaken as those evil...
