    Okay, I was looking on the first page and saw the "Desk" kinda look. And a concern was that the "desk" would cover the apps. so I thought maybe it could open/close. like the Windows "Hide taskbar"...

    Click any sound file it plays without opening any window
    View any picture without opening any program
    view a movie/video without opening any new window
    edit text without...

    ect/apt/sources.list and in the ubuntu installer main menu press F6 twice and you can get to expert mode for advanced users to chose everything.

    I want to boot in to Ubuntu 8.04 and when I do i get:


    Ubuntu 8.04 localhost tty1
    Localhost login:
    I just want to boot can I get past this?
    Runing 8.04 Just installed
