    [ubuntu] Re: gpointing-device-settings Segmentation Fault

A later version (1.5.1-3) of gpointing-device-seetings can be downloaded from here - it might help you out. However, it still doesn't disable tapping even when the box is checked for this.

    But at...

    Re: 10.04 - Customization issues

This is actually a Firefox Add-on. Just go to Tools, Add-ons and disable it.

Thinking of going to the standard Gnome desktop myself. Don't like having stuff forced on me.

[ubuntu] Re: Kernel upgrade broke WiFi

One thing that I did notice, and included in my failed bug report, is that under the old kernel 2.6.31-17, my Atheros card is described as "Bus Master: Yes" in Hardware Info, PCI Devices.

I have just tried twice to post a bug report through Launchpad - and failed both times.

All I got for my efforts was -

    Error ID: OOPS-1490H1019 and

[ubuntu] Re: Kernel upgrade broke WiFi

[ubuntu] Re: Kernel upgrade broke WiFi

I have experienced exactly the same problem using an Acer Aspire 7003 with an Atheros AR2413 Wifi card. All well under kernel 2.6.31-17, but not with 2.6.31-18.
