    When my Acer got wrapped around itself, and I couldn't get Linux booted, I reset the bios to factory default.
    Also pushing F12 while booting brings up another boot screen that shows USB UEFI boot...

    I use to auto login, and had a hard time getting keyring out of the picture. In the end its much easier to just login from the start. Only chrome was the trouble child anyway.

    You still need a hardware device to access any web, cloud service.
