Y510 64bit ... using the lenovo-sky option. Also I am KDE but as of 10.10 KDE moved to Pulseaudio as well so shouldnt be a huge difference there.

yes and dont overlook qBittorrent as well. Its nearly a clone of Utorrent and has a headless version with WebUI :)

I forgot to note that the webcam is working perfectly in Lucid without the use of the 3rd party PPA. However it does still require preloading v4l1compat.so

Hrmmm shame about the other problems. Its possible that with some mapping you could get sound from your sub. But getting alsamixer to show it is the 1st step.

Sometimes its possible to to unload the module and reload but often you will find that the module is in use and cannot be unloaded, therefore a reboot is needed.

Its been a busy month for me so I havnt had much time to look into this but I can now confirm this 100% working on 64bit Karmic.

The issue for 64bit users is that skype is NOT a 64bit app...

Using a fresh isntall of Karmic x64.. still no dice :(
