It hasn't happened since the flip. I am going to go ahead and assume the cause was the keyboards relative proximity to the dongle. Thanks guys.
I have recently flipped my computer around s/t the business end (where the usb dongle resides) is facing me. I am hoping this will help.
This is my mistake. I meant to type 18.04. I have corrected this mistake in the original post.

Is there any way to turn off the right-click hold and release "feature" in Ubuntu? It's really bugging me because it seems to constantly happen even when I don't mean for it to happen. Perhaps it's...

Today I ran out of space on this partition. I am using Ubuntu 18.04 and I opened up the disks utility. Luckily one of my partitions had an excess of space so I used the resize feature and now I have...
Yes I can read. Apparently this title is really getting a few of you worked up. However, from what I can tell changing the title of a forum post after the post has been made isn't possible. Perhaps...
No, I think you guys are over thinking it a bit. You wouldn't be hovering over the directory and seeing all the contents of the directory. The idea would be to have the ability to right-click a...

I currently have a multi-boot system: Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04. I get odd behavior with my Bluetooth headset and dongle. As soon as I get the system working on one of my OS' such as 18.04 it will no...
Is there a way to view all the applications and programs that are on my Ubuntu machine? For instance, if I didn't already know how to open a terminal then its feasible that I would be able to use...
I recently decided make my system a duel boot system between Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04 and I am having some trouble with Bluetooth. I setup the Bluetooth dongle on my 18.04 after installing and it was...
On Ubuntu 16.04 under displays there is an option to setup the Ubuntu launcher placement to both displays. Has this option really been removed in 18.04? I can not seem to find it.
Currently I have my Displays settings set to: Join Displays. It lists a primary and secondary display. The primary display receives control over the favorites bar, the show applications button and...
It sounds to me like I should be okay to restart my computer.
